Our little Addison

Addison and her various case of the Mondays looks

Watching the Iowa vs. Purdue game.

Papa, Addison, and Hank's nap time!!

Our little Addison is up to 8 pounds now. We think we have gotten her eating issues under control. She has acid reflux which caused her to throw up quite a bit and then not want to eat anymore because it hurt. She is on meds for that and is doing much better. She continues to only sleep in her car seat and nap in her swing probably because of the acid reflux.

Halloween and other fun times

Our little angel sleeping during all the exciting football games on Sunday!!!

Nap time for all. Hank is very protective of Addison!!

Addison's first drive through experience on the way home from the hospital. Her mom and dad were hungry!!

Our little pumpkin thinking about how much she really does not want to be in her costume!

Addison had to spend her first Halloween in the hospital but mom got her a costume anyway! She is too cute in her little pumpkin outfit.

Addison very awake and bright eyed and a picture of her in her breastmilk coma!!!!

The cutest little smile I have ever seen!!

Once there was a little girl who was born at 31 weeks. She was very tiny. Now at 40 weeks gestation and 8 weeks old, look at how big she is!!! We are in the final stretches of Addison's hospital stay. She is going to come home very soon. She is doing very well and couldn't be any cuter!!! It has been an incredibly long journey for us. It is unbelievable what hospitals can do now when it comes to preemie babies. I was looking at pictures of her when she was born and cannot believe the difference 8 weeks has made and how far she has come. She had to do it all on her own without the help from me at the most crucial time of her development in utero. She is the most incredible little girl who can and will do anything she wants to do in her life.

New addition Addison

Look at how big I am now!!!

Grandpa and Addison
She is getting a little bit bigger!!!

Just after she was born

It's time for a little snooze.

Papa's first experience holding her.

Shortly after she was born. She was swiftly taken to the NICU to get hooked up to all of these machines.

Well, our little lady decided to surprise us a little bit early (9 weeks to be exact). Addison Marie Meyer was born September 3rd, 2008. She spent 5 weeks in the NICU in Iowa City and is still in the NICU at Genesis in Davenport. Her last hurdle is learning to eat from a bottle. She is very stubborn but she is getting it.

Vacation pictures from Garden City Beach, South Carolina. Laura and I reading on the beach.
Carriage ride through Charleston, SC.
Isn't he dainty!!! He looks like a regular Southern Belle!!
I hope he doesn't run out of air. We actually found out later that we couldn't use the tubes in the ocean so he did all that blow'n for nothing!!

The horse just kissed my shoulder so I am a little surprised!!!
