And when she wraps her hand around my finger, Oh it puts a smile in my heart, Everything becomes a little clearer, I realize what life is all about.

Happy 17 month birthday Addison!!!! My little peanut is getting so old!!! Here are somethings that Addison loves to do.
She loves to chase the kitty around the house and tries to pull the kitty's tail until Daisy gets annoyed. She still loves to dance. She is getting over her first cold ever. She loves to hide behind things and pop out to scare you and play peek-a-boo. She loves to be chased. She can say dada, rara, nana, baba, and Hank. She can say mom but not on command. She would rather sign mom. She can sign mom, more, and bath. She has great receptive language skills. She knows all of the Sesame street characters, farm animals, knows where her head, tummy, and feet are, and we are working on colors. She knows what a cat and a cow says and will tell you when asked. Ryan loves her short little legs!
I cannot believe how big she is getting and how far she has come from the Iowa City NICU.

- She is walking everywhere. She prefers to walk over being carried and will scream if she cannot have it that way.
- She loves cell phones, remotes, computers, bascially anything that we do not want her to have.
- She loves books! She will look through books for hours and will always find the animal books and specifically point out the cats and dogs. She loves those pages the best.
- While looking at books, she will turn the pages and start talking like she is reading them. It is the cutest thing.
- She hates her glasses and will not leave them on her face!
- She loves to dance whenever she hears music.
- She is saying "da-da", "ra-ra", "hank" (just the K sound), "na-na". Still no mom. =[ She is repeating a lot more sounds that we say to her though.
- She definately lets us know when she does not want to do something or it wasn't what she wanted. She is a little spitfire!!!!!
- She loves to smile at people and will always find someone at a restaurant willing to wave at her.
- She is still a great sleeper at night (thank goodness). She is not a great napper.
- She is the love of our lives and the most amazing daughter anyone could ask for!
