Happy Anniversary!

Four years ago today, I became Mrs. Ryan Meyer. I cannot believe how quickly the times has gone by. Ryan and I have done many things together in the four years we have been married.

• We bought a house, moved in on my birthday and have been enjoying life there ever since.


• We got a dog! I found Hank on the internet and we drove two and a half hours to see a little puppy because I thought he was adorable and he was good with cats. He and Daisy still tolerate each other but aren't best buds. He and Addison, on the other hand, are best friends!


• We have been to South Carolina, Mexico, and many weekend fishing trips.


• We have the most amazing little girl who came into the world a little quicker than expected and gave us many grey hairs in the process but she is incredible and I don't know what I would have done without Ryan when Addison was in hospital. He was there whenever he could be and when he wasn't, he was a phone call away.



• Iowa games, concerts, camping trips, and spending time with family!

Ryan:

I love you more than words can say and hope that we have many more years to come. You are the one I want to grow old with. I want to have more kids, have grandkids someday, and retire with you. Love you always!

21 Months

I know that I say this every time she turns another month older but it is going so fast and she is learning so much. I cannot believe that in three short months I am going to have a bouncing two year old with many new things to learn like potty training (yikes!!) Oh well, at least we will be free of diapers before another one comes along. Here are some things that Addison is doing now!

• Saying so many things like "Cubs go", hey guys, what you doing. She is starting to put a lot of words together.


• Temper!!! We have been having some temper tantrums (alot). She has a pretty quick temper and gets mad a lot. She doesn't like it when we tell her no (but what kid does, right)


• Like her cousin Carter, she sleeps with a zoo! Her care bear blanket, Violet, a couple of bunnies, a couple of Care Bears, Abby Cadabby and a lamb.


• She has acquired two fish that Ryan has named Wehger and Robinson (for you Iowa fans, you know who those guys are). She loves them. She signs fish and says "hi fishy" every morning.


• She.loves.the.water! Addison loves to swim and take baths. It is going to be a lot of fun this summer!!!!!


• Her favorite thing to do right now is throw things away. Not just trash either, I have found toys in the garbage, puzzle pieces, and many other things. We are working on locking the trash can!!!!


• She still loves to dance and at grandmas house, she has made a stage out on the deck so both Carter and Addison go from the pool to the stage to dance to their favorite music.


• Addison has decided that she needs to be awake when the sun comes up so this summer could be very interesting!!


• She is still a skinny little thing but she is starting to eat better!!!

I still cannot believe that my little peanut is getting so big. She is starting to look like a little girl instead of a baby!
